A few years ago, I found myself sitting across from a sleek, rather intimidating AI robot at a tech expo. As someone who's been tinkering with gadgets since childhood—seriously, I once tried to retrofit my bike with homemade rocket boosters—I was both intrigued and apprehensive. Here was a creature of circuits and code, and I couldn't help but wonder: Will these machines replace us, or is there a human connection waiting to be discovered?
